Rocker bearing features its pin to permit stable rotations and movements in response to different loads and forces from its superstructure including living load, constant load and earthquake-generated forces, etc.

Features:

Types:
There are two main types including expansion rocker bearing and fixed rocker bearing as shown in the following pictures.
 

Details:
> Materials: quality steel plate in accordance with ASTM A709 grade 36, 50, 50W; cold-rolled or heat treated steel pin. Custom materials are also available. 
> Standards: AASHTO, ASTM or other custom standards. 
> Anti-corrosion coating: high-solid primers, zinc or zinc / aluminum thermal spray coatings and other custom coating. 

Note:
Rocker bearing is stiff without any compressibility under vertical load. In this circumstance, a thick elastomeric bearing pad or other pad with high elasticity is recommended to be placed between the bearing and piers.
